Caramel Apple Nachos are a perfect Fall treat the whole family will enjoy! Sliced apples drizzled with an easy homemade caramel, chocolate, and topped with nuts, toffee, chocolate.... whatever you like.
What you'll need :
Apples
Chocolate
Caramel Sauce (click here to make your own)
Toppings: mini chocolate chips, nuts, toffee- be creative
How To:
Wash, core, and slice your apples and put them in a large bowl. Add lemon juice and water, or sprite to the bowl, and let the apples sit while you prepare your drizzles and toppings. *This will keep the apples from turning yellow
Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave until melted. Removing every 30 seconds to stir until chocolate is fully melted.
Remove the apples from the liquid and place them on a paper towel to remove moisture. Arrange sliced apples on a large platter or plate.
Drizzle the caramel sauce and chocolate over the apples and sprinkle with toppings. You can also place items in bowls on set up an "apple nacho bar".
