Three Gens began as my daughter Braley's project, created with me, and her Mammy to share our farming roots, family recipes, and traditions. Her hope was to help people better understand the farm families behind the food on their tables and the clothes on their backs. That connection is still part of who we are.

Our family has deep roots in Trenton, Florida, where faith, agriculture, and gathering around a table have shaped our lives. So much of what we know has been passed down while cooking, working, and spending time together.

As life changes, Three Gens is growing with us. Braley is now away at college, and the things she once watched me make have become the recipes she calls home to ask about. Those calls have given this little project a new purpose: putting our family's everyday knowledge somewhere she, and others starting out, can return to.

I'm Ashley, and I'll be sharing more from our kitchen: family favorites, baking, simple how-to lessons, and ideas for making people feel welcome. Braley's original vision and Mammy's place in our family story remain at the heart of it.
